Imports of live animals

Many species of animals can be sent by means of air cargo. The delicate transportation always requires advance bookings for the whole transportation route, which may include intermediate landings.

It is the Shippers responsibility to provide all the necessary documents (e.g. Shipper's Certification for Live Animals) and to comply with all the regulations and rules set by IATA. As every country has its own regulations and rules the best way is to contact the local consulate of the country in question.

Customers need to apply for a permit for importing live animals.  That can be done [here]
